WEIGHTLIFTING

Yes, weight lifting has been shown to help ward off and control diseases like Diabetes, osteoporosis, certain cancers, heart disease, and depression, not to mention strengthening the body in ways that can make daily living easier and more enjoyable.  No, you don’t have to “bulk up” to do it.  Using primarily free weights with a few machines thrown in for good measure, weight lifting is a fantastic way to tone, prevent injury, raise your resting metabolic rate, and generally increase your level of badassery.
